From linear to circular

Collaborating for a Sustainable Textile Future

How can the textile industry transition from a linear model to a truly circular economy, and what role do collaboration, scalability, and innovation play in this shift?

Join industry leaders from Spinning Jenny, ReHubs, BASF, and Raddis®Cotton in a roundtable discussion moderated by Laura Vicaria, founder of Rethink Fashion. Laura, a leader in circular fashion consulting, is dedicated to helping textile partners achieve their sustainability goals while making circularity exciting and accessible. In this session, panelists will explore how they navigate the shift to circularity, sharing practical lessons from their experiences and the critical importance of value chain collaboration, innovation, and scalability. Discussions will focus on overcoming supply chain challenges and consumer behavior to drive circularity forward.

In this session:

– Niccy Kol (Raddis®Cotton): A regenerative business developer with 30 years of experience, Niccy leads the transition from linear supply chains to collaborative value networks using regenerative cotton.

– Tobias (BASF): Marketing manager at BASF, Tobias manages the loopamid® initiative, an innovative solution for recycling polyamide 6 textile waste while maintaining high quality in textile recycling.

– Paula Gerritsen (Spinning Jenny): CEO of Spinning Jenny, Paula drives high-tech spinning processes using post-consumer textile waste to close the loop in textile production.

– Chris Deloof (ReHubs): A passionate advocate for cross-industry collaboration, Chris leads ReHubs’ mission to transition the textile industry toward a circular economy.

With the textile industry under pressure to adopt circular models, this session provides valuable insights into how collaboration across the value chain, control over supply chains, and tackling commercial obstacles are key to scaling sustainable solutions. Essential for professionals in fashion and textiles seeking to lead the circular transition.
